Puss In Boots

In old France, a miller’s son named Nat inherits only a pair of boots, a hat, and the family cat. Though the gift seems small, Nat soon discovers that his cat is magical and living the last of his nine lives. The clever feline puts on the boots, speaks aloud, and proudly names himself Puss in Boots. Ambitious and eager to be remembered for a great deed, Puss decides to change Nat’s fortunes. Nat, honest and hardworking, believes that truth matters more than titles or tricks, but Puss has a grander plan in mind.
At the Royal Castle, King Gourmet is in despair. His daughter, Princess Penny Candy, has been kidnapped by a hungry ogre who plans to cook her for dinner. The worried king cannot stop eating as he frets over her fate. Puss in Boots boldly visits the king and promises that his noble friend—the “Marquis of Cala‑Nat”—will rescue the princess if granted permission to marry her. The king joyfully agrees, unaware that the marquis is simply Nat. When Puss presents Nat in fine royal clothes, Nat immediately tells the truth about who he is. King Gourmet admires his honesty and declares that if the princess is saved, she may choose her own husband.
Deep in the ogre’s gloomy castle, Puss in Boots arrives just as the monstrous cook is preparing his dreadful “Princess Penny Candy Surprise.” The magical cat boldly interrupts the meal, flicking his tail with confidence and daring the ogre to show off his famous shape‑shifting powers. The ogre, proud and hungry, transforms from huge to tiny, from fierce to foolish, trying to intimidate the cat. But Puss is quicker and cleverer. The moment the ogre shrinks small enough, Puss pounces, trapping him like a rat in a trap and gobbles him up. With the villain defeated, Puss frees Princess Penny Candy.
The moment Princess Penny Candy meets Nat, she falls in love at first glance with the honest young miller’s son. Nat gains a bride, the kingdom gains a hero, and Puss in Boots earns the eternal fame he dreamed of — not through trickery alone, but through courage, loyalty, and one very good deed that will be remembered throughout all history.
