Laugh when Marion shows she knows best! Cheer Huzzah at the happy ending!! Wooden Czech Marionettes perform in this most traditionally presented puppet play. “Come along with me to the Greenwood Tree where I have a tale to tell. There’s a man who lived in old Sherwood, his name was Robin Hood!”

Hansel and Gretel

You may forget Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel” was ever an operetta when the puppets sing it live, but you will never forget the fun of a one man, two hand, seven puppet, well-sung marionette show. Elaborately costumed marionettes perform with gusto. Hansel and Gretel are lost in the woods. Can Mama and Papa find them? And what of the Gingerbread Witch, is she Devil’s Food Cake or a Ginger Snap? You will love the way this cookie crumbles.

The Selfish Giant’s Garden

“The Selfish Giant’s Garden” is based on Oscar Wilde’s famous fairy tale about a giant who learns it’s never to late to share. The show features lathe-turned wooden marionettes. The puppet’s simple wooden surface is left so children can use their imagination. The hair is made of rope, the eyes of shiny brads. The string puppet children are round and smooth while the giant is boxy and rough. The musical show contrasts selfishness and sharing. How does a Selfish Giant learn to share?
